A Bit About Me
My name is Isabel, I am currently a 3rd year undergrad Cinema And Digital Media & Chicano Studies Major at the University of California-Davis. I have a passion for video and image capture and representation in the creative fields. As an undergrad I have had the privilege to learn and continue to learn about technicalities of cinema and different creative processes.
I have found a great interest in documentary works and sports videography but I love any process of production and post production. As a CDM and CHI major I have skills in Adobe Premier Pro, Lightroom, Canva, Slides, and Instagram.
I am currently a Summer Content Creator and Storytelling Fellow at Making Waves Education Foundation, videographer for Aggie Studios, and The California Aggie Newspaper. Much of my current photography is focused in Stage and Sport settings as I am the Vice President of the BJJ Club @ UCD as well as a former student of Los Cenzontles Cultural Arts Center in Pinole.
During my time at UCD I have had the pleasure of capturing graduates big moments through grad photoshoots. This has been a priceless experience because I have had the opportunity to capture the achievements and sacrifices made by our First Generation community. As a First Gen student myself I know what this means to our people and playing a small role in commemorating a students effort is truly rewarding.
